Taylor Lewis is the Applications Engineering Manager for the Western Region with Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. He manages four offices that host training classes, sales demos and contract inspection services for all Hexagon metrology equipment and software. Prior to this job, he was an applications engineer for Hexagon, programming parts and specializing in large scale measurement with Leica Laser Trackers. He also specialized in reverse engineering parts from scan data into parametric CAD models, using structured light and laser line scanners. Before Hexagon, he was a design engineer in the aftermarket motorsports industry designing motorcycle exhaust systems and air intakes. He has his bachelors of science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Long Beach.
