Sriram Subramanian is a Royal Academy of Engineering Chair in Emerging Technologies at UCL ( London). He has held faculty positions at the University of Sussex, University of Bristol, and the University of Saskatchewan. His research spans physics, electrical engineering, and industrial design, with a focus on developing multi-sensory technologies. Sriram is the co-founder of AcoustoFab, a company pioneering contact-free robotics and process automation through acoustic levitation, with applications in liquid handling, seed sorting, and 3D printing. His contributions to engineering have earned him prestigious awards, including the Colin-Campbell Mitchell Award and the ACM Distinguished Scientist award.
