Robert Joyce is the President and Founder at Innovative Plastics and Molding, Inc dba FibreTuff, a developer a polyamide with polyolefin and cellulose (PAPC) composite for 3D Printing, Molding and Extrusion. FibreTuff has commercialized 3D printing PAPC biomaterials for the fused deposition modeling (FDM) and selective laser sintering (SLS) method. These advanced PAPC materials in both FDM and SLS methods has produced functional “bone like” biocompatible composites. Third party collaborators such as Universities, Medical centers, US military and civilian health care physician’s have validated printed FibreTuff PAPC characteristics. Since 2016, the FibreTuff technology has grown "globally" to produce printed PAPC bone models, phantoms, surgical guides and implantable products. Robert has two college degrees. He has contributed to many research papers, some published by the American Society of Mechanical Engineer (ASME). Robert has 7 North American patents has been a speaker at many SPE, AMI, SME biopolymer and medical conferences.
