Nicole Santos holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath, UK and in 2021 was the first woman to graduate with a Master’s of Engineering (MEng) in Additive Manufacturing from the University of Maryland. She has been involved with Additive Manufacturing projects for NATO, USMC and the US Army since 2015. Since 2021 she has been working as an Additive Manufacturing Engineer at BreakPoint labs on projects with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) to create cybersecurity solutions for the Additive Manufacturing workflow. During her time at BPL she has assisted in the development and implementation of the BISON cybersecurity tool.
