Mark Chester is the Product Development Specialist and operational lead for industrial digitalisation on the Centre for Digital Innovation project based in PrintCity Manchester Metropolitan University. Within his role, he is responsible for helping companies in the United Kingdom to create new products, processes and services utilising digital manufacturing technologies such as additive manufacturing (AM). Mark previously studied a BA in Product Design before transitioning across to a MSc in Digital Design and Manufacturing at PrintCity. He now specialises in consulting and applying new digital technologies into companies to enable innovation with a focus on 3D modelling, 3D scanning, and AM. Mark has 5 years of industry experience in AM, collaborating with a wide variety of industry sectors and companies of all sizes across the world.
