Katya Stonkevitch is a materials and process engineer at Northrop Grumman Space Systems where she works on a multi-disciplinary team of engineers enabling additive manufacturing for use on space programs. Her current focus is on material and process qualification for aluminum laser powder bed fusion. Her previous work includes materials research and development for additive manufacturing applications for both metal and ceramic 3D printing systems. She holds a BS in chemical engineering from Northeastern University and a MS in materials science & engineering from UCLA.
