Maryland CAD Solutions LLC
Ms. Anzalone earned her BSME from Lehigh University in 1995 and her MSME from Johns Hopkins University in 2003. She spent 14 years in the mechanical design group at Northrop Grumman in Linthicum, MD. Five years ago, she joined the medical device company, American IV, in Harmans, MD. While working for AIV, Ms. Anzalone used 3D printing daily to investigate design ideas. She used the Stratasys Objet30Pro 3D printing workhorse to create final product demonstrations and quick shop-floor solutions.
Ms. Anzalone’s current role is running her own business, Maryland CAD Solutions LLC, where she performs mechanical engineering and reverse engineering tasks for AIV and other companies. This leverages her ability to capture intricate OEM shapes for injection molding tools and develop original designs.
Ms. Anzalone was delighted to speak at RAPID + TCT 2019 on the topic of 3D scanning, specifically photogrammetry versus structured-light scanner. Before this, Ms. Anzalone has spoken twice publicly on the topic of 3D printing at Lunch & Learn events hosted by TriMech and 3DMD. To stay up-to-date, Ms. Anzalone has attended the AMUG conference for the past three years to keep up with new technologies. This is in addition to attending many nearby 3D printing events and online webinars.
Maryland CAD Solutions LLC has a structured-light 3D scanner (EinScan-Pro), a Form2 3D printer and a 3D printer (MonoPrice Select). Ms. Anzalone is a member of the Baltimore MakerSpace, OpenWorks and part of the SCORE small business advisory group in Maryland.
