Greg Simms works at the University of Maine's Advanced Structures and Composites Center as a member of the Sustainable Materials functional group. He is fully engaged in the SM2ART Program managing Technical Collaborations with industry partners. Greg brings over 20 years of diverse project management experience to the team from his time spent in the construction and materials testing industries. He is also a veteran, having served in the US Marine Corps. Greg has earned a B.S. in Ecology and Environmental Science from the University of Maine; an MBA from Kent State University; and he is currently enrolled in the University of Maine's Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program focusing on Material Science and Engineering.
