Evan Butler-Jones is the Vice-President – Product & Strategy at Equispheres, a materials science technology company specializing in high-performance metal powders for additive manufacturing. Equispheres' powders are critical enablers for volume production programs using AM, increasing throughput and repeatability while reducing per-part cost. Evan has worked in additive manufacturing since 2014 and has extensive experience integrating new technologies into manufacturing operations. He has over 20 years of background in research, technology implementation, product management, and applications engeering in the aerospace, defence, and mining industries.    He is a frequent speaker at industry events (Formnext, AMUG, SpaceTech Expo) and has been published in numerous trade publications. Butler-Jones holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa and completed graduate studies in space resources at the Colorado School of Mines. He maintains professional accreditation with Professional Engineers Ontario.
