Elijah Gorton is a Materials Engineer and Lab Lead at Norsk Titanium with 6 years of industrial experience. He attended Clarkson University with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and is certified Level II UT and PT. In his role, he has been instrumental in the evaluation of Wire DED material quality from development through production utilizing both Destructive Testing and Non-destructive testing methods. These results are used to develop and qualify production components while also guiding improvements to software, programs, and products. He also works towards full definition of nondestructive inspection methodologies for Wire DED in both engineering and production capacities.
