Dominic Peachey is a metallurgist at Alloyed with an MEng in Materials Science from Oxford University. Prior to joining Alloyed, he completed an extended research project at MIT, specialising in novel heat treatments of 3D printed Ni-based superalloys for gas turbine applications. At Alloyed he has specialised in the compositional development and microstructural optimisation of novel alloys for LPBF, using computational and experimental techniques. Here he has gained broad experience in materials development working as both an engineer and project lead on numerous projects. His work led to, among other achievements, the invention of ABD®-1000AM.
