I have been working internationally as an entrepreneurial scientist for over 15 years in the field of biomedical research and Additive Manufacturing (AM). More specifically, my experience in biomedical research includes specializing in computationally modeling patient-specific thermal ablation treatments in combination with thermosensitive liposomes and the development of microcontroller ablation systems along with user-interface imaging software to support animal studies. Furthermore., I have been gaining in-depth experience in 3D-printing research and development projects, and have co-founded AdditiveLab, an engineering company dedicated to developing physics-based simulation software for 3D-printing processes. My expertise includes software development with a focus on image and 3D geometric processing and multi-physics simulation. Additionally, I have gained considerable hands-on experience in performing machine process parameter development (laser, scanner, etc.) and developing 3D-printed devices.
