Chris Holshouser, Managing Director of Advanced Manufacturing at BlueForge Alliance, brings over 20 years of expertise in advanced manufacturing. He oversees a portfolio of transformative projects, driving adoption of cutting-edge solutions through research, development, and strategic partnerships. Chris played a key role in developing the first publicly available B-Basis allowables dataset for additive materials, contributing to a new chapter in the CMH-17 design guidebook. With technical experience across metals, composites, ceramics, and polymers, Chris has worked with regulatory bodies to close qualification and certification gaps, accelerating additive manufacturing (AM) adoption in defense and aerospace. He serves as co-chair of America Makes’ Roadmap Advisory Group and actively contributes to ASTM and SAE standards. Previously, as New Business Capture Lead at Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works, Chris bridged innovation and implementation, shaping the future of manufacturing in regulated industries. His leadership continues to advance AM capabilities, setting new benchmarks for collaboration and industry progress.
