Changda (Darren) Liu is a materials engineer working at Vitro3D. Darren holds a masters of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. He has 5+ years of experience working in the field of volumetric additive manufacturing (VAM). As the first hire of Vitro3D, Darren is the expert in all things VAM, ranging from theorizing algorithms to printing and materials characterization. He has significantly increased the printing resolution and part quality in Vitro3D’s High Dimensionality Volumetric Additive Manufacturing (HDVAM) technology, and is working to further expand the capabilities of additive manufacturing.
