Dr. Bartłomiej Wysocki has been active in metal additive technologies for over twelve years, focusing particularly on optimising Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) processes for new metallic materials. He is a co-author of more than 30 scientific articles and has around ten patents aimed at improving specific additive manufacturing technologies. His research also includes developing new methods for producing feedstock materials, such as metal powders and metal/ceramic composites, as well as implementing machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to optimise the parameters of the PBF-LB process. Dr. Wysocki collaborates with numerous scientific units worldwide, including UTEP, YSU, OSU, University of Malta and Stellenbosch University. As an Assistant Professor at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (Multidisciplinary Research Center in Dziekanów Leśny), he works on transferring the technologies he develops into industrial practice. Previously, he served as the CEO of Materialscre Ltd., a spin-off from the Warsaw University of Technology focused on creating innovative 3D printing solutions for the medical field.
