The first solution, a custom-designed rail system, enabled efficient inspection of medium to large parts, such as chassis segments and full chassis. With an 8-meter rail system, this solution reduced inspection time significantly, allowing over 500 features to be scanned in just one hour—far exceeding the capabilities of the previous CMM system.

The second solution focused on inspecting pipe-like assemblies for car seats. Leveraging a UR5 collaborative robot and laser scanner, this system eliminated the need for complex fixtures. It featured tools for pipe bending corrections and virtual assembly, ensuring accurate fit and streamlined processes. A custom fixture plate allowed quick configuration changes, enhancing versatility and efficiency.
