Hospitals all around the world are adopting 3D printing technologies to help provide better patient care. The medical device industry is very entrenched in providing implants and services to hospitals, but the accessibility of 3D printing is now leading to changes in these historic business models, with hospitals now producing some of their own medical devices. Personalized surgery tools in the form of 3D-printed anatomic models, surgical guides and personalized implants are all in scope. Hear from those on the front line of heading up these 3D printing initiatives within medical centers across the US.
