Ground-Breaking Vehicles Enabled by a Capital Efficient and Adaptive Production System

Over seven years of development, the Divergent team has invented, industrialized, and commercialized the Divergent Adaptive Production Systems. DAPS is the first digitally driven end-to-end design and manufacturing system. It is not simply Industry 4.0 but rather a next-generation system level replacement of traditional design, manufacture, and assembly solutions.
Leveraging this novel technology base, the Czinger Vehicles team has launched a record-breaking halo vehicle named the 21C, holding production lap records at Laguna Seca and Circuit of the Americas. We will discuss how DAPS delivered a design and manufacturing advantage that enabled rapid iterative development, ultimately bringing this product to market in half the time of comparable hypercars with no design-specific capital at risk for the vehicle mechanical backbone.
