Tadeuz Kosmal is a second year Ph.D. student in the Virginia Tech DREAMS Lab. He is also a U.S. Navy SMART Scholar at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division. His research focuses on robotics and autonomy within Additive Manufacturing. He graduated summa cum laude in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech, with a major in Mechatronics and Robotics. As an undergraduate, he led a design team that built the first additive manufacturing robotic workcell capable of autonomously fabricating an entire drone.
