Yash is an internationally recognized manufacturing professional with over 14 years of experience in metal 3D printing, particularly in Directed Energy Deposition (DED) processes. He specializes in business development and the commercialization of new products. Yash is among the few individuals globally with hands-on experience in all three major heat sources used in additive manufacturing—arc, laser, and electron beam—having worked at renowned organizations in the US, UK, and India before the age of 30. Yash has published numerous articles, chaired various conferences, and delivered a wide range of talks on additive manufacturing. He is a member of RAPID+TCT's advisory board, actively participates in ASTM committees F42 and D20, as well as ASM International’s Emerging Technologies Committee. Additionally, he has contributed to drafting ASTM and BSI standards for DED and WAAM technologies.
