Guillermo is a Ph.D. candidate in Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle and a collaborator in experimental aerodynamic research under the Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence (VLRCOE) program. His research primarily focuses on Navy ship aerodynamics and ship-helicopter interactions.Guillermo has expertise in experimental techniques such as Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and force-balance measurements, and he develops analytical approaches to study complex turbulent flows, including ship airwakes, wing-induced vortices, and flow separation.
