Garrett Clyma is a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer with Flow Science, Inc. focusing on modeling complex manufacturing applications. Garrett joined Flow Science in 2022 after graduating with a bachelor’s in aerospace engineering from Western Michigan University. He currently works in business development and application engineering for modeling additive manufacturing, welding, and metal casting processes with the CFD software, FLOW-3D. Throughout his tenure, Garrett has worked with industry professionals and academic researchers, training and supporting their efforts to model laser powder bed fusion, directed energy deposition, and numerous methods of metal casting.
