Dr. Mats W Lundberg is head of sustainability at Sandvik, where he has worked for 14 years in various positions in R&D and sustainability. He was the main driver for Sandvik joining Science Based Targets initiative with Net Zero ambitions, which now have been validated. Previously Mats had experience from a scientist position in Denmark with focus on materials used in fuel cells and hydrogen applications. He is PhD and M.Sc. in chemical engineering with focus on materials science. Mats also have many years’ experiences from board positions. At home he has solar cells on his house and electric vehicles in the driveway.
