Anthony Zimmerman has been at General Motors for 5 years. He has been supporting Advanced Manufacturing processes for 18 months as Global Process Lead and worked in CATT (Carpet, Acoustics & Trunk Trim) as a Supplier Quality Engineer prior to AM. This group is responsible for managing GM-contracted suppliers in support of product development and production. Prior to GM, Anthony worked at Ford as a Cost Engineer for 3 years in the complete seat commodity. He has launched additively manufactured automotive components using a variety of AM processes including MJF, Binder Jetting and LPBF. Anthony is passionate about learning more on AM process controls and leveraging DFAM to better enable 'adjacent' processes such as milling and polishing.
