Carrie Braun is an Optomechanical Engineer in the Photonics and Quantum Sciences department at L3Harris Technologies where she has been an employee for 7 years, supporting a variety of internally and externally funded projects. She specializes in acousto-optics and additive manufacturing with 5 patents in the field, including the novel SLAM – ALE patent on which this work is based. In addition to her work at L3Harris, she received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree from Purdue University.
