Doug Kenik is the Director of Product Management for Software at Markforged. Kenik has vast experience with software companies operating in the advanced materials and manufacturing processes spaces, having previously been a researcher and application engineer at Firehole Composites, which was bought out by Autodesk in 2013. With Autodesk, Kenik moved into Product Management for advanced materials, helping to commercialize Autodesk’s Generative Design solution as one of the lead Product Managers. As VP of Product and then CEO for Teton Simulation, he also played a pivotal role in bringing SmartSlice to market last year and leading the acquisition of Teton to Markforged. He has spoken previously at Rapid + TCT on the role of software to advance additive’s future.
