Dr. Wetzel is the Team Leader for the Strategic Polymers Additive Manufacturing team in the Manufacturing Sciences and Technology Branch of the US Army's DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory, located in Aberdeen Maryland. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Wetzel has authored over 80 peer reviewed publications and has been issued over 25 patents. His research and development work in advanced materials has ranged across multiple disciplines including advanced composites, multifunctional materials and additive manufacturing.
