Mr. James Zunino is a Senior Scientific Technical Manager (SSTM) for Advanced Manufacturing Future Concepts, and the Army Technical Area Chief (TAC-1) Advanced Materials & Manufacturing. He works for U.S Army DEVCOM and serves as the technical authority overseeing advanced manufacturing, future concepts and strategic initiatives. Mr. Zunino is an Army Futures Command's Manufacturing Principal and leading subject matter expert on advanced manufacturing for the US Army. He helped established the Army Advanced Manufacturing Community of Practice and serves on the Army's AdvM EXCOM. Mr. Zunino works with customers and end users to develop systems and provide solutions to help meet requirements and needs. He holds a MBA and a B.S in ChE from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Mr. Zunino is a “Manufacturing Innovation Institute Fellow” for contributions to Manufacturing USA and has received numerous awards including: Thomas Alva Edison Patent Award, US Army R&D Achievement Award, Major General Greene Innovation Award, DSI’s Military AM Lifetime Achievement Award as well as other DOD and Industry awards.
