Arvind Rangarajan is the Global Head of Software and Data for HP Personalization and 3D Printing business. He leads product management, strategy, engineering, R&D and M&A for the software organization. He joined from HP Labs where he worked as its chief technologist. In this role he helped establish strategic technology roadmaps, and drive turning the research into new business opportunities for HP. In his prior roles in GE he worked across functions to develop innovative solutions for manufacturing components in renewable energy products that leverage additive including polymer, metal, and sand binder jet technologies. He also developed and managed strategic technology roadmap for manufacturing modeling and additive design tools.He served as the product owner for GE Additive metal binder jet build prep solution. He also spent time at Xerox PARC working on a cloud based distributed manufacturing platform for US DoD. He holds 11 patents and 15 publications. Arvind holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
