Alexander Pluke founded Additive Flow in 2013 and following its acquisition in August 2023 he heads up the Additive Flow Division as GM + CTO, at Nano Dimension, a global NASDAQ leader in AM technology, AI and advanced engineering. Alexander built Additive Flow from the ground up with the intention of developing AM hardware to enable sustainable product development and manufacturing. This soon transitioned into developing complexity-busting software to solve real challenges in the AM workflow. Harnessing advances in AI, data science and optimisation, Additive Flow developed a solution that offers users a simple three-step workflow that quickly and cost-effectively predicts process, part and material variables to help drive sustainability, business and engineering goals. Additive Flow has validated ground-breaking results, including 2160X faster compute with Autodesk and 95%+ fatigue life accuracy accounting for defects, while taking part costs from EUR 8k to 2k with Airbus Defence and Space.
