Chris Allebach is the Fabrication and Prototyping Manager at Dorman Products, a leading aftermarket automotive supplier, where he collaborates closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to implement additive manufacturing design and supply chain advantages for the organization. This includes the production of 3D printed parts for prototype applications as well as end use production parts. Chris graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology with a degree in engineering design. He started his journey at Dorman 14 years ago as a designer, and eventually got involved with the 3D printing operation for the team. Chris took initiative to grow the internal 3D printing capabilities, and moved into his role of managing Dorman’s additive manufacturing lab that has grown to over eleven printers, and produces 1000's of parts per year.
