Pete Schupska

Mr. Schupska is a Principal Engineer at The Ohio State University's Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence. He leads applied engineering research in the Materials and Process division, focused on applying advanced technologies to legacy manufacturing processes. Before joining the Ohio State University team, Mr. Schupska started his career in the automotive and fluid power industries at companies such as Honda R&D Americas, Parker-Hannifin Corporation, Swagelok Company, and TS Tech Americas, Inc. His most recent role at TS Tech was as Product Engineering Manager and Chief Engineer, responsible for specification development, FEA/CAE simulation, and product validation testing for automotive seating products. Mr. Schupska received his Master’s in Engineering Management from Ohio University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University. He is pursuing a doctoral degree in industrial systems engineering at Ohio State University. He has completed his Green and Black Belt in Design for Six Sigma, certified through the University of Michigan.
