Maciej Tusz graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering specializing in the characterization of nanomaterials. He's worked at NASA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and continued after University as a project manager leading research in phase change materials and multifunctional composites. With an experimental materials background, he transitioned into the first consultant role at EOS GmbH in Germany focusing on the industrialization and R&D support of metal systems for Aerospace, Energy, Motorsport and Industrial customers. Over five years ago, he founded Magnitude – the only company in AM that develops Uptimo and OpEx tools. In his decade of work in AM, he has supported OEMs and their suppliers in production, qualification and R&D efforts. At Magnitude Innovations, the team has developed the only OpEx software in the industry to eliminate tribal knowledge and double production efficiency of AM systems and batch production. Armed with these tools, Magnitude supports customers in their production to ensure that their growth and profitability targets are achieved.
