Rachel Mancuso became an additive manufacturing engineer at DM3D Technology in late 2020. She previously came in as an engineering intern in late 2019. Rachel received her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with an automotive specialty from Oakland University in 2020. Her interests primarily lie in aerospace engineering. She also has a love for music as she can proficiently play multiple instruments and has won several art competitions. At DM3D Technology, Rachel works on decomposing and tool pathing parts for printing in DED. She has since helped lead a team to achieve second place in a competitive additive manufacturing competition, aided in developing and qualifying post processors for robot machines, and push the boundaries of non-planar builds. Rachel also interfaces with customers to provide technical support for tool pathing software. She continues to help advance DM3D Technology in meeting customer expectations, solving incoming product development decisions, and increasing productivity efficiency. Rachel loves the development aspect of work and is eager to learn as much as she can to help improve future technologies.
