Wenzel America
Beginning my professional career as a architecural drafter & model builder in the 90's, I started with 3D scanning & metrology in 2000, and have worked with many hardware and software solutions for inspection and reverse engineering ever since.
I have specific experience with photogrammetry & structured light systems, portable arms & various laser line scanners, laser trackers, traditional CMM's, and X-Ray CT scanners.
I have worked with customers in a wide range of manufacturing industries, from automotive to aerospace, medical, consumer goods, & military, as well as academia & scientific research, and even some cool art projects.
The coolest things I've ever scanned might be the 3 pristine Narwhal skulls & tusks from the Smithsonian Institution.
I enjoy sharing the knowledge by educating & training people, empowering them to utilize in these technologies to their best advantage in solving their problems and improving their process.
