Dr. Cao is an Associate Professor in the Chemical and Materials Engineering Dept. at the University of Dayton. His research is centered on the development of advanced nanocomposites using various additive manufacturing techniques, such as Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF), Direct Ink Writing (DIW), Vat Photopolymerization (VP), and Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM). Dr. Cao has worked on many funded research projects, with over 90 papers in many scientific journals. His research contributions have been cited over 15000 times.
