Sarah K Burris, PhD, is the Global Leader in Scientific Affiars for FUJIFILM VisualSonics. She has over 9 years of experience building collaborative relationships with global key opinion leaders (KOLs), including physicians, clinicians, and scientific researchers. She is skilled at gaining insights, communicating scientific and medical data, and developing impactful research projects using ultrasound and photoacoustic imaging across multiple therapeutic fields, including, but not limited to cardiometabolic diseases, oncology, dermatology, ophthalmology, and neurology. She has experience leading and managing internal and external cross-functional teams (XFT) and acting as a subject matter expert for Intellectual Property and Regulatory and Compliance issues on multiple devices and accessories in the FUJIFILM Healthcare portfolio. As a project leader, she successfully oversees government reporting for multifaceted, globally funded research initiatives with budgets exceeding $5 million. She is part of the VisualSonics's global leadership team who helps shape the company’s scientific vision and strategy to establish brand as a global leader in the basic science and medical research community.
