Yohann Vautrin, Ph.D. is a research officer in the Automotive and Surface Transportation research center at the National Research Council Canada, based in Boucherville, Québec. As a member of the Simulation and Numerical Modeling team, his research interests include multiple topics related to the numerical modelling and simulation of complex, emerging industrial manufacturing processes in order to facilitate their adoption by Canadian companies. He mainly concentrates his research on Additive Manufacturing processes, such as LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) and FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication).
