With over eight years of experience in additive manufacturing, I specialize in the laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF-LB) technique. My role involves creating virtual models, support structures, and batch files for the PBF-LB device. My expertise extends to the development and optimization of production parameters for both new and established metals and alloys, including in situ alloying processes, which formed the core of my PhD research. I also oversee the selection of post-production processing methods for 3D-printed components. As Head of R&D at International Manufacturing Group, I lead efforts to innovate and enhance PBF-LB capabilities, driving the development of our machines and expanding the range of printable materials. My role also involves close collaboration with scientific and research institutions to push the boundaries of additive manufacturing technology.
