Katelyn Kiser, PhD, is a Senior Metallurgical Engineer in the Missouri Protoplex at Missouri University of Science & Technology. She obtained her PhD in metallurgy through the Kent D. Peaslee Steel Manufacturing Research Center. Prior to her work at Missouri University of Science & Technology Katelyn received her B.S. degree in materials science and engineering at Michigan Technological University. Her research has focused on the characterization of solidification and defect formation in continuously cast steel grades.
