Global Advanced Metals (GAM) is the world's leading, vertically integrated, and conflict-free provider of tantalum metallurgical products and tantalum powder for high-performance capacitors. GAM offers a wide variety of refractory metal products, especially tantalum and niobium, to produce Additive Manufacturing (AM) parts. GAM offers feed materials for AM in spherical powder, angular powder, and wire forms. GAM is supplying tantalum powder for MIM, Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF), Electron Beam (EBM), and Direct Energy Deposition (DED) printing. Laser printed parts that could be used in medical, nuclear, aerospace, electronics, and military applications and will be displayed at RAPID+TCT 2024, booth 1429.  The density of printed parts has reached 99.7% without heat treatment. The powders are highly spherical with Hall flow less than 8 seconds/50g and >99% spherical by SEM observation. Angular tantalum, tantalum alloy, and niobium powders have been used in a number of cold spray applications. Both angular and spherical powders can have customized chemistry (gasses and metallic impurities) and delivered between 4N and up to nearly 6N purity.
