Mr. Sujit Tambe works as a Research Assistant for Hybrid 3D Metal Printing and as a Teaching Assistant in Engineering Design and Manufacturing Management at Western Michigan University. With a control engineering background, he first started working with Dr. Pavel Ikonomov to maintain plastic 3D printers. While working in 3D printing, he realized the significance of metal 3D printing and decided to move ahead on the journey towards metals. Currently, they have a five axis Hybrid 3D Metal Printer which marinates both Additive and Subtractive techniques on same platform, capable of printing complex and overhung structures without support material.
